4 Year Warranty

All they added was another year on the power train.
The old warranty was 2 years Bumper to Bumper. 3rd year was for Power train, Parts Only . No labor. I would consider adding labor to the power train warranty a big change.

I agree with Batche33. This obviously shows confidence in your product based on past performance, in my opinion. That's just common sense, but I'm sure there will be other opinions. I bought in 4/05 and am glad I didn't wait. Wait for what? I wouldn't have 114 hours of work completed either.

Okay, that makes more sense.

Had you known the 4 year warranty was on the horizon, would you have waited? I don't think I could have /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I agree with both Highbeam & Drewl, wouldn't have made any difference to me either.

Kinda of annoyed here...bought my ck20 middle of 05....haven't needed any warranty yet but would be nice to have some extra covered time on it...may have persuaded me to wait in the purchase if I'd known they be improving the coverage...will be really annoyed if something goes out once my warranty expires..and is within the new 4 yr window....

Talk about being annoyed I just bought mine CK30 on February 9th. Less than 1 week before the new warranty took effect. Now that is being annoyed.

The problem with a continually improving product is that whenever you buy, the next one will have some feature or benefit you want. but if you wait, you will NEVER have it at all. for those that bought in 05 or recently bought a tractor that has been in stock since before October of 05, you at least avoided the PRICE increase that occured at that time.
Hope this helps some of you feel better. Also the extra 2 years are powertrain (engine, trans, drive axles etc) I'm sure kioti's statistics show that the cost of this warranty is managable and will not be used by most customers at all so wait till you get to the end of the 4 years before you worry about it, odds are you didn't miss out on a thing!
