What is a "mechanical hydro transmission?

I'm pretty sure he wants an hydro transmission with all the electronics that most have nowadays. That's why I mentioned the Branson as there are no electronics on that tractor.

Sorry, I meant "without all the electronics".

I ended up buying a tractor that is neither 40-50 hp and has ehydro.

Didn't see exactly what I was looking for and a JD4310 popped up on my radar.

You had post 3 or something stating that you bought the new JD already. Did I miss something.

A long time ago, I wanted to buy a JD 110, basically motor, tranny (E-Hydro)and rear end of a 4000 series tractor, I don't remember which. It was a much sexier rig than Kubotas L48 with mechanical hydro, but I have little doubt today, the L48 was the better, robust, more durable tractor.

I had a 4310 eHydro for 3.5 years. I really liked it, but a 3046R does everything way better.

I like my tractor, 2013 mfg date Kioti DK 45 SE hydrostatic Cab, three range hydro, last year before computer, auto throttle, and all the emissions BS, so look 2013 and earlier.

Mechanically injected and governed.... throttle cable and a muffler:thumbsup:

They made these in 40/45/and 50 horse, all the same tractor different motor...these are not the same as todays DK series!!!
These were a heavy duty, deluxe tractor.... Lift 2750lbs to full height properly ballasted.

Every thing they charge extra for now was standard equipment.

On the Cab model, all standard equipment..... Extendable links, front and rear wipers, work lights, heat and AC, AM/FM CD player, sun visor, tilt, cruise, nice seat, three cupholders etc,... Pretty **** nice:)

Best buy Kioti ever had in this HP range that could do some work IMHO

I think my 2009 Kubota M6040 is pre-computer - and I know it's tier 3 emissions. It has what Kubota calls a hydraulic shuttle transmission. Nor does mine ever throw hissy fits and have a dash full of flashing lights. Unless I flip a switch and turn something on.

As I now have it set up with Land Pride SGC1560 grapple( 820 pounds) on the FEL - 1550 pounds of RimGuard in the rear tires and my Rhino 950 rear blade @ 1100 pounds - it weighs 10,100 pounds. It works very hard and I enjoy it immensely.

However - a man has to know his limitations - so choose wisely grasshopper...............

You will probably have to look at something with a tier 3 emissions to get around most computer stuff. That I believe is 2011 or 2013 not positive, i'm sure some with more knowledge can chime in.
