40 FOOT DRY VAN TRAILER FOR BRIDGE

/ 40 FOOT DRY VAN TRAILER FOR BRIDGE #11
40' vans are similar to unibody cars in that the box acts as a significant part of the frame structure. Flatbeds are similar to body-on-frame construction used on pickup trucks.

If you are sold on using a trailer for a bridge, get a flatbed and forget the van.

If you haven't noticed, take a look the next time you see a loaded and unloaded flatbed trailer. When unloaded, you'll see a noticeable arch in the frame, which is there to compensate for the cargo's weight.

I like the conatiner idea. The conatiners are built tough they will handle your needs. I would think a conatiner would be cheaper than a flatbed trailer would be.
