400CX FEL, nice but...

Spent some time this last week building / rebuilding some roads. With the added HP of the new 4520 over the old 4300 moving the base rock ( 3"- crushed basalt ) is a snap. The 4 in 1 performed as advertised. Now the down side. The self leveling FEL does not have as much roll back as the standard so keeping a heaped bucket is harder. I didn't think that the minor loss of roll back would amount to much, but it did. Still, since the pallet forks have been on more than the bucket, I'm happy with the self leveling feature.

Yup, like the old complaint that gold is nice but its so heavy to carry. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
