I failed to mention that I did also used the die on the male end. It cleaned up well enough to put it back together. So I did that, And slowly pulled it into the storage area so it wasn't stuck in the middle of his property. My gut says I could use the loctite stuff on it right now, and be fine, however having those extra 1/2" of threads makes me feel better if I'm in high gear doing 15mph down a back rd.
Some of the other issues we've had with it, is the steering issue, Where the steering wheel turns but the wheels don't. I almost took out a mailbox and swerved into oncoming traffic on that little issue. That was warranty work thank goodness. Also, the brakes were seized upon delivery.... Couldn't figure out why it was so sluggish until we were using the loader on a parking lot snow removal job, And I was skidding all over the lot with one tire.. The 4wd shifter locked up as well. I could go on, but most of the others were issues we had with the dealer we bought it from.
It's still a tough machine. Mostly human error caused all the issues.
