Mahindra 5035 HST
Good afternoon everyone,
I am new to the Mahindra forumns as I use to own a L3200 Kubota HST 4x4. I am looking to move up in power and size. I feel a 4035 Hst would be a decent fit but then theres the 5035. 2013 5035's in the hydro are running out quick. Plenty of shuttle shifts left I'm told. I recieved a price for a 4035 hydro with a ML 130 loader for $29,400 financed for 0% for 84 months. I had a dealer price me a 5035 hydro and loader for $32,000 financed for 0% for 84 months. The 4035 was priced local and the 5035 priced in another state (so im sure there would be an additional cost for shipping). $350 a month for the 4035 or $383 a month for the 5035.
We currently own about 8 acres with the opportunity for more later. I don't bush hog much either. Loader work and general around the house chores weather it be grading the drive or box scraping will be my main use. My Kubota was a nice tractor I just needed a little more room along with lift capacity. Any ideas or thoughts on pricing would be appreciated. Im not too sure how the newer machines coming out will fair. I hear some good things about the new tier engines and others say try to get the 2013 models. Im sure the great financing is soon to end aswell. I look forward to some different views.

My thoughts..... Why go the zero financing? You are not saving any money. Mahindra is going to get their profit margin up front. I would go with the 4.25% financing and get cash pricing and save money by paying it off early. Also, you won't be sorry for the extra HP both under the hood and at the PTO, so go with the 5035. An interim Tier 4 will be a few thousand cheaper than a new full Tier 4 machine. So if you can get the interim machine go for it. I'm sure they are selling fast. B.

What I come up with is saving $3000 doing the cash deal. Financing through a bank would cost me $30 more a month for 7 years versus going through Mahindra for the same 7 years. The extra charge that is added for the 0% for 84 months is around $1100 according to the local dealer. The lowest rate I came across is 4.6%. I do agree about stepping up an additional 9.5hp......as long as a hydro can still be found! I'm sure there would be extra for getting it shipped in then...

I just checked the Mahindra site for the 5035. Their rock bottom pricing gets 4.25% for 84 months plus cash back depending on model. Their value pricing is 0% for 72 months plus cash back depending on model. Now, what rock bottom and value pricing actually mean I don't know. I'm sure the dealer could spell that out. If they have an overstock of a certain model I'm sure they will make concessions to get those moved out of inventory. Good luck and post pics of whatever you buy. B.

If you are even considering the 5035, forget about the 4035. Just do whatever it takes to get the 5035, you will not be sorry in the long run.

Just my opinion, worth about :2cents:. ;)

I recieved what pricing would be on the 5035 hydro with my the ML 130 loader. Pretty close to $32,000. Is this the norm for this unit? It is a 2013 model. Anyone mind chimming in on weather or not from their dealings if this sounds close. I'm not looking to bash this topic in the ground just wondering if this sounds decent. Thanks in advance

Looks like the cash deal I could do would be $28,600. $31,700 was for 0% for 84 months

I bought my 5035 hydro last november, I think my rate was 2.9, maybe 3.9 but I'll have to check. it went through a bank so I got thecash break and I added the extra remote for $900. I think my total out the door was 29,800 or very close to that.
