Mine was put together down in Texas. Not sure where all the parts come from, I believe the loader is built here in Kansas though.

You are correct. The loader was designed and is built in Kansas.

Test drive a Bobcat CT445, and you will see that it has a much smoother transmission. Operate the loader on both and you will see that the Bobcat has very good lifting capacity and is a very well US built unit. Look close at the hydraulic line runs on both tractors, Look at the overall fit and finish, operate the tilt wheel, open and close small covers and hatches...you will see that everything on the Bobcat is well engineered and built to last. My experience with test drives of the red tractors left me wishing there was a little more attention to detail. Compare the Bobcat dealer network in the US and you will see that the Bobcat will be easier to maintain. Look at a number of local rental yards and you will see Bobcat units...WHY...because they take a beating and just keep going. I have owned 5 compact tractors over the past 20 years, Orange & Green mostly...and get a little smarter each time I buy. You will not regret buying a Bobcat CT445.

By the way, this is not a clone of the Kioti...South Korean built in the same plant YES, same diesel engine mfr. DaeDong YES, though Bobcat wrote their own specifications and improved many features with their own propriotory line

Just my 2 cents...drive everything you can before making a $25K decision

If the Kioti and the Bobcat aren't clones, they are nearly twin sisters, dressed differently perhaps. Both are good tractors. Bobcat tractors are in rental yards because Bobcat Skidsteers and Excavators have long been standard stuff at rental yards, so when Bobcat was bought by a Korean company a few years ago they were smart enough to leverage that good construction equipment reputation and started selling Kioti'ish tractors. Smart business move, but I think it is still a very similar tractor to the Kioti, and that's not a bad thing.

I've driven both, and much prefer the Mahindra...but then again I am biased, but aren't we all.
