I just took delivery of a 4100 HST, with R-4 tires and JD loader for 13,200 from a dealer near Lebanon, TN.

I looked at the Kubota 7500 and 2410 also. I thought the Kubota's engine was a little more responsive but the build quality of the JD (Yanmar) was better. Fenders on the Kubota were floppy and I could not operate the Kubota brakes and the hydro go peddle at the same time. Both are on the right side requiring use of the right foot at the same time. Brakes on the JD are on the left.

After using the 4100 for 2 days I like it even better than I thought I would.

personally i would not buy the 4100. it has a diesel 20 hp engine in it. when you get into tractors that is to big for that size of an motor. i was in the same set up as you but i decided to go to the 4300. it has a 32 hp in it and is not much more expensive than the other

That's a very good price for the 410 loader. I paid $2600 for mine (installed later after tractor purchase).

I am having my 4100 delivered today. It is a gear tranny with loader and a 60" finish mower. Priced at $15,000 before tax. That is from a dealer in Chestertown MD. Two other dealers were within a $100 or so but this dealer was closer.
