Tires 4100 tire widening

Well they came and got the 4100 today to get it serviced.No tractor for a week.Well thats besides the point.Anyway there going to change around the back tires so its a wider and more stable.I think it makes it 4 inces wider.? But 4100 owners, is this going to help on the problem of the three point rubbing the tires and stability? PLOWER

Plower, I had the same problem on my 4100 with R4 tires. Reversing the wheels solved the problem for me. No more hitch rubbing and the tractor seems stable to me. Don't know if it will work if you have turf tires.

I have the 4600 but it sure helped my problem. I couldn't even get chains on before but now it is fine. When I moved round bales if the bale shifted to the side it rubbed the tires on the three point arm. Plenty of room now. Being wider will definitely give you more stability. I have the R4 tires.

Hey what do know I cant believe it it got back today they said it would be a week!!!!!!!But as I can see know that there is going to be alot more room.gonna go test it now.

I just got a 4300. the wheels are in the narrow position. It measures 58" side wall to side wall. How much more does it add when in the wide setting?

I'm not sure on a 4300 but on mine it gave it 2 inches on each side and it makes a differance.

Do you have the turf tires?? If so now that they are reversed,
are the valve stems on the inside or outside.There seems to be a little discrepancy in the owners manual as to wether or not turf tires can be reversed.
