4110 arrived; is now initiated :)

My new 4110 is home & has ousted my Expedition from the garage. Spent some time today getting it dirty, and also experienced my first 'pucker factor' on a gentle slope that only looked to be fairly dry & solid. WooHoo, got my sorry little *** outta there fast! Tried to play with the MMM but had to stop when the right side of it dropped to the ground. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif We're due to get lots of rain starting on Tuesday, so probably can't play again .... oops, I mean work ... until Thursday. Good luck with the machine, looks great. Is that a box blade or tiller on the back end? I'd be interested to hear how it works out for you; both are on my wish list for next summer. I ordered my 4110 last Friday, it should be at the dealer this Friday & I hope to see it in my barn next week. I need a BH so I traded up from an x585.

Hey, my dealer (who I really trust on most matters) said there was a 7% price increase coming down the pipe as of Nov 1 on the 41xx's. He had to call the factory and have my purchase order 'price protected' in case they couldn't deliver before the 1st. Did your dealer mention any of this?

Great looking machine! My Father-In-Law purchased a new 4115 last fall and absolutely loves it. Matter of fact, I can't recall seeing him in the last year when he wasn't out in somebody's yard or property playing with it!! Time to arm the Honey-do list with tractor needed projects to keep the significant other off your back about seat time!! Have fun and enjoy!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I took delivery of my 4110 this week and was told steel had gone up 17% in 2004 but that JD had not raised there prices like other manufactuers however in 2005 they expected a sizable increase.
