My local dealer gave me this price as his best (after all rebates):
JD 4110, 60" MMM, FEL, $18000 + Tax. Isn't this a bit high?

A'yup, it sounds pretty high. Especially with the new 23's coming out.

That seems kind of high to me as well. If you build-it-yourself on the Deere web site what do you get as a list price? Since the 4110 (which I have and think is a terrific machine for me) is being phased out, I would expect 15% off list (+or-). I would have expected that to come out about 16,500 or so? That can vary by area though.

I also have the 4110 with FEL, 60 MMM and was just curious about the 2520 (4115) replacement.

Through the configuator I priced both the 4110 and the 2520 with FEL, and MMM. Well I was shocked the 2520 only came out around 300-400 more with more horsepower etc.

As I recall from my purchase in November '03 the base price on the 4110 appears to have gone up a bit.

The price I came up with on the 2520 with the 62D OnRamp MMM and the 200CX loader was 20823.00. I could be missing something but its not off by much I suspect. Take 15% off of that and your looking around 17.7K not including tax...

if you are pricing a rig that is in short supply i dont think you will find a dealer to knock 15% off. my experience is you won't get that much off on attachments either. 2520 price quotes iv'e seen and posted on TBN are a couple thousand higher than that.

I bought my 4110 HST in Sept 2002 , FEL with 61" bucket and loaded R4's for $13,900. No MMM. As others have said I would compare against the 2520. If you can , it might make sense to spend a few hundred dollars more up front for the better / newer machine. You'll thank yourself in the long run. The 4110 is an excellent machine as I am sure the 2520 is as well , however since the 4110 is or has been replaced , you might get a better deal on a new model. Also , if you can check around different dealers , sometimes that extra mile out of the way tends to be worth it in terms of service and sometimes price.

hope this helps

I just took delivery of my new 4110 in August. My dealer put together a fair package for me.

- JD 4110 HST, Folding ROPS, 200CX, 47" Snowblower
- JD 445 (Used, but in flawless condition, 100 hrs) 48" Deck, PowerFlo Bagger

I paid $19,500 out the door. For comparison, the snowblower and 445 must be worth more than the difference in price. Good Luck.

A dealer about an hour away has quoted me:
4110, 60" MMM, 410 FEL w. BBox, LX-4, RB1060 blade, i-Match & fittings for $17,000 before tax.
We didn't break it down pricing wise, but that's about 25% off list for the whole package.
Limited supply has nothing to do with it. These 4X10 models are last year's (decade's) models
and are being replaced, as we type, with the 2X20 series.
Unless you think that the 4110 is the equivalent of a classic 1957 Chevy,
don't pay anything close to list price for a tractor.
Dave.

The difference between dealers for my 4110 was about $2400. Fortunately the lower priced one was my preferred one. In any case, that price sounds high. And I would think that a sunset model would be discounted much more than the latest thing.
