4110 w/509hoe and ML112 FEL

First post, please be patient. I've been reading many of the posts in this (Mahindra) section for a couple of months and based heavily on what I read have ordered my new 4110 with FEL and hoe. Tried a number of different brands but in the end it was the advise I read here and my total satisfaction with the dealer that decided me. Have 39 acres in southern Maine which we are clearing maybe 5 acres (stumping) and about 4 acres is already field (mowing). The balance will be select cut for the stove. This will be quite a step for me from a 48 8n with a fel and Sherman backhoe. Any direction or advise would be welcome. Thanks

I had a 4100 with the 11 ft 511 Bradco hoe. Only advice I have is get a 12 and 24 inch hoe bucket. You will find stumping a lot easier and quicker than using a 24. I also had the PTO pump nad hydraulic tank that also makes a world of difference... what dealer you getting this from?

with that much to take care of why are you not getting a full size tractor? i think the smaller ones are probably more fun to operate and look cooler but if i remember right the 4110 cost more than a 4500 and it comes with a much heavier loader.

Good choice, The 4110 has plenty of power for what you are going to do. I have one (no backhoe yet) on a 20 acre hobby farm and it handles everything I ask of it. I also think the 9 ft backhoe is the right size for that machine. Enjoy your tractor.

The dealer is Nutron Equipment, he's been in town for about two years and is a ten minute drive from my house. As far as size, I just found the 4110 a nice compromise. It seemed big enough to do all I need it to do but small enough to get around with a mower. Hope to have it by the end of next week and will post pics when I'm done drooling.

I bought a tractor from Nutron and they seem like a good dealer so far. They came to house to install improved glow plugs and relay.

Hey Hockeymaine what model did you get. What did you think of Arney? He was one of the reasons I bought Mahindra. Having a good dealer seems an important part of having a tractor and so far he's done me right.
