Does it blow black smoke like its getting to much fuel or does the crankcase just fill completely with diesel?

Tractor has 750 hrs,no black/white smoke, lift pump good doesn't cut out or misfire runs as it should other than putting fuel in the crankcase. THANKS.

Find a injector/pump repair shop. They will have an injector, and pump test bench. They can tell you right away if there good or bad. They can fix everything right there too.

You need to get the shop manual, if you don't already have it. It will tell you how to install the pump, and time it.

I would start by just pulling the injectors. 99% of the time that is the problem. you can pull a set of injectors in 10 minutes vs. the couple of hours it will take to pull & reinstall and tims the pump.

As said before a diesel pump/injector shop will be able to bench test the injectors & rebuild if necessary.

Listen to jd110. The engine is running fine and starting fine, that indicates that everything is fine in the combustion chamber, follow the evidence.

I stopped at a local diesel injector/pump repair shop and described everything to the owner who was very busy at the time said to check the fuel return line at the bowl.I looked at the line after I got back home the line tee's off from the pump to the tank and the fuel filter bowl. Is there a check valve in the bowl? Should I remove the hose at the pump and blow out the lines? Anyone have any idea on this? I've had to work the last few day's and haven't had the time to check this out. Thanks

No,I changed the oil/filter and used maybe 1 hour since last post. I believe problem is with a bad seal in the injector pump.have you found/fixed yours yet?

I looked at the engine very closely and there appeared to be some fuel on the bracket below the injector.. BUT since i wiped it off I havent seen anymore there..

Im like you i think i need more run time to see whats going on.. I was all set to replace that lift pump though..
