4225 With New Seat for the Side Seat Driver

Hello all! I have finally gotten around to taking some pictures of my 4225 cab tractor with the instructors seat installed for my sons pleasure. I must state now that a sticker came with this that says the seat is to be used ONLY by an instructor. Funny, they didn"t say that when I told them what I was going to use it for BEFORE I bought it! But I guess they have to protect themselves from the occasional person who are injured due to their own actions and then sue!

I guess a good example of this is the woman who went to Mcdonalds for hot coffee, spilled it on herself after putting it between her legs while driving a car and was awarded $50'000000.00 in a jury trial! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif But I digress, let's see the subject was..................... oh yeah instructor seat! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The seat fits perfectly and is not in the way of entering or exiting the cab. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif There is plenty of room between the driver and passenger seat even when my foot is on the clutch. Another picture,

Makes me think about that allergy commercial on TV I have been seeing showing a women going to meet the parents on the farm... It looks like an uncle or maybe an older brother picks her up in one scene.. later he invites her to ride on the tractor and then you see here obviously, although blocked by the engine housing, showing her riding on the tractor fender.... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I bet they had her strapped on to protect her... too bad they give the impression she is riding... very dangerous practice...

Surge, just scroll down to the 4225 listing in this forum and you will find some pictures of my tractor. So far I have put 17 hours on it and am very happy with the little tractor.
