I have not replaced it the cam. Seems to be running ok other than the issue with the module. I have over 1100 hrs on it now and is a 2000. The serial module tag on the engine has come off a long time ago so not totally sure which engine module it is?
I haven't had to do much maintenance on it... knock on wood.. but if that cam does go I would imagine the engine will totally stop?
Any other things to watch out for? I have worked the little machine pretty hard over the years with blade and snowblower and of course mower. It's been great.
