I forgot the parking brake on the newer ones are different than mine. On my '99 hydro I have three brake pedals. Two on the left are turning brakes and the one on the right is the main brake. I don't have the knob that you have for the parking brake I have a lever on my left side that I pull.

Jerry, my 4100 HST is set up the same way. Dual pedals on the left, parking brake pedal is on the right.

I've never noticed until today that the right brake pedal is marked with a P for park. I use that pedal for the main brake pedal all the time instead of pushing both left hand pedals at the same time(they don't hook together). That is what the pedal is for isn't it? It works for me.

Yea, that'll work. In my manual its function is described as the parking brake but by pressing down on the right pedal it applies the regular brakes (both linkages) mechanically via a shaft and pivot arm.

Have a Happy New Year Jerry
