4310 and Newbie

Bill -- I ended up with a Kubota L3010, but if I'd had more confidence in my local JD dealer it would have been the 4300. Still, I've never had cause to be dissatisified with the Kubota. I had a MMM with my little 1750 (about the same dimensions as the 2710) and found removal / reattachment to be incredibly easy. Remember that with Kubota you disconnect and drive right over the mower; no need to pull the mower out the side. Can't say anything about the R4s. Where I live I need aggies; R4s would leave me stuck several times each day.

The 4300 outsells the 4400 by far. The 4400 is too much extra money for 3 HP more. There may be other differences between the two, but I don't know of any.

The book covers attachments and what they do, but doesn't go into details about how to use them. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Hope that answers your question... simply.
