My 4310 is about 1 1/2 years old. Dash started fogging after about 20 hrs. Dealer replaced the glass with anti-fog kit. Still fogged when tractor was hot. Dealer replaced the whole dash console and glass. Still fogged when tractor was hot. Waited till this year. Dealer replaced the whole dash console and glass again. Still fogged when tractor was hot. Surely Deere could come up with a fix for this? My thought is that when the tractor gets hot the heat from the engine blows back against the back of the console and heats the air between the console and the glass. Well if the air inside the console is warmer than the outside you get fogging. My dash gets very hot to the touch if I have been mowing with it at rated RPMs on a hot summer day. Just my 2 cents worth. I would think this would be an easy fix for Deere. Maybe an insulation kit for the back of the console? Wouldn't it be a safety issue if you couldn't see the gauges. Surely it wouldn't take a injury law suit to push them to resolve this /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Hey john deere is the greatest tractor on earth /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Maybe they will fix it.
