4310 E-hydro seems spongy?

I don't think mine has motion match. It has all the other switches but that one.

D-Ram, dunno if the '02 is different in that aspect than the '03, I thought they would be the same. Can you send us a pic of your switches (on fender panel, and the instrument panel near the steering wheel)

The Loadmatch switch is beside the steering column. I turn it off unless I'm are at or near wide open throttle. It will give you a spongy feeling if left on at lower rpms.

Typically, I leave mine in range "B" unless I need to go down the road or pull something tough to pull then I move to C or A.

Also, I'd probably change the filters and fluid so you know exactly what you have in it. Not cheap, but far cheaper than a new tranny.

You know Kyle, you may have a point there, I thought it was the motion mattch that gave me that symptom but I might have also changed the Load Match switch too.

The book says the suction side filter and the dealer tells me there are potentiometers (may not be spelled right) that read the pedal position.

I was just at the dealer and drove a 4410 with the hydro and it did the same as mine!

Thanks John, I also thought about going for a 3520, but I am on a budget and if I go for the turbo, the boss has to get something big too!, and I would have to wait for two attachments instead of one I also read somewhere that the 3520/3720 turbos are louder than the 3320? Is it really that noticeable?

I had a very basic 4200, gear trans, with a 72" mmm. Reached a point where I no longer needed the mower, but wanted a loader.
Went looking for a used similar sized tractor w/loader. Found several candidates, but the 3520 clearly presented the best condition/value combination and also had more power and features than anything else in the group.
The 4200 is the only similar siized model that I have any acutal experience with. At light loads the 3520 is louder, but not objectionable to me. The strange thing is that under moderate to heavy loads the 3520 is extremely smooth and quite. I have been told that is because of the turbo, but I don't really know. It was actually quite errie the first few times I experienced it. With a brushhog mower just cutting grass, as you hit that certain load all the sound seems to move from in front of you to behind you because suddenly you only hear the mower, not the engine. I am very happy with the 3520 but think I would have been equally happy with a 3320. I suspect there is little real world performance difference unless you need the maximum pto hp.

Well when it came time to pull the trigger, I went with the 3520 Deluxe Cab/300CX/small R4s/Mid-PTO (just incase I want a snow blower later - doubtful), and I decided to try out a inexpensive flail mower from BETST. under $1k for a 68" cutting width, so I thought I try it out. I am gonna keep my Turf Special R3s and send my regualr R3s with the 4310.

I will get the front mounted blade later.

I figured if I ever needed the extra power, I would have it
