Many thanks to all of you for your input and advice. Gonna do the deal tomarrow as my local dealer that I've had great experience with came in a couple of hundred lower than the others, he surprised me as I usually have to negociate him down. I's put in a smiling face but can't figure out how to insert those things-tells you how computer literate I am. This tractor has R-4 tires and I measured the width outside to outside at 57". Is this all the way and wide enough, I have mostly level or gentle sloping ground? Only thing I can get around here to load the tires (other than calcium) is methonal, OK? Will go with the mmm as I use a 620 ztrak for finish mowing and just need to keep the rest mowed down, already has mid PTO and rear SVC. Getting the HD 61" bucket but he doesn't know much about getting a toothbar added. Any help here would be appreciated. How do you guys like the Imatch setup, worth the money? I have to get a new blade since I had to sell the old one with the 8N. 4n1 bucket sounds good as a second bucket and he said Deere has a 60" one, probably a later purchase. Will try to get him to throw in a ballast box and see how that flies. He has to order in the 430 in since he has to get the HD bucket for me as the one he has has the regular one, plus order in the mmm. Says everything should be here by May 19 and ready to go. He has a frontier 7' blade but do you think 6' would be better? Hope to sign and talk implements in the am. Will let you know if I'm in the family. How the heck do you put those smiley faces in, I need a couple.

Well first off - Congratulations - You've made a good choice and it sounds like you've got some nice options on it. When I got mine I didn't get a toothbar on the HD bucket but I did put on a replaceable/reversable cutting edge. I don't know if you're looking at that or not but I think it will extend the life of the bucket. I ended up ordering a toothbar about a month ago and I love it. The issue with that is the dealer forgot I had the replaceable edge on there so it didn't fit well. I'm sure there are Toothbars that are made to go over the replaceable edge. Since it was his mistake I worked with him and bought another slightly used Deere 61" bucket at a really good price ($200) and mounted the toothbar on it. So now I have two bucket setups and they are a snap to change.

I really can't comment on the other options you're looking at - I don't have them, probably some of the other members can fill in those blanks.

Inserting the "faces" is a breeze - just click on the one you want and it will insert at the point in the message where your cursor is blinking. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have had my ehydro 4310 for just over 2 weeks I have 25 hours on it and so far the ehydro trans has been great. I know of a friend that has a john deere 4110 with ehydro and he has over 1000 hours on it and he has had no problems with it at all. And if you are just talking about hydro trans period I have an old case lawn mower that I have had for over 17 years and the transmission is still working great on it even with the abuse of my kids /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
