Thanks guys! Much appreciated. I'll probably get either the imatch ballast box or a box blade. I just assumed that the loaded tires would be adequate. I noticed in the manual for the 300x that they recommend loaded tires and a ballast box. After looking at the bucket compared to my old woods loader bucket it is much larger.

Come to think of it I will probably buy a 6ft box blade. How could the wife argue that I don't need anything else for the tractor, it is a matter of safety you know /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

You guys in MI should have bought some property by that boy scouts camp long ago. You could be driving a tractor made of gold /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mark,

The link for EZ Attachments works but it only says the Items are by H&H Mfg.....no visible way to contact them or find local dealers. Any more known info about H&H?

Thanks,

Dave in VA

The new machine looks great! As I was looking at the pic (before I read the thread) I noticed your 4310 looked different from all the others I've seen. I then noticed you got the new 300x loader. Very cool! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Nice 4310!

Are you sure the tires are loaded? I do not have loaded tires on my 4310 and rely on just the weight box. I have moved heaping buckets of stone and dirt over uneven ground without any tipping. I have a habit of bouncing the loader after lifting the first load to check stability and have not experienced any wheel lifting.

Maybe the weight box is more effective than filled tires but I would check to make sure the tires were actually filled. Another reason for using the weight box (or some othe 3PH mounted weight) when using the FEL is to relieve some of the weight off of the front axle seals.

I'll call the dealer on Monday, but I am sure they must be loaded or I think I would have went over the hood. Thinking about it I should have tilted the bucket back and forth to shake off the excess. I think I dropped the loader arms up and down and with a full bucket of wet sand I think it just lifted a little in the rear. I'm not sure it even came off the ground at all but it definitely didn't feel right. I did drive with the full bucket afterwards and dumped it without a problem.

I'll still use the incident as a good excuse to by me a box blade /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
