I can tell you that with the MX5 on my 4410 that it never once struggled during a 90 degree day. With the 6.6 acres you have, you should be fine with the 4310 and MX5. The advantage of the 4410 is you probably can go over brush just a little bit faster without getting the engine lugging. So you might save a few hours of time overall, but pay a few thousand dollars to do so. So that's the real tradeoff. Probably not a good one in your case (i.e. the 4410 is more of a bonus HP vs necessity). If you had 5 times the acreage, then 5 times the time savings might justify the added cost.
But once you cut it, it will be a lot easier to maintain going forward, and then the 4310 should do just fine going forward.
Also, Deere lists the MX5 as compatible with the 4310, and they're usually pretty reliable in these recommendations.
