Price Check 4310 Price quote, what do you think?

Hi I still have my printout of the 420. It has a list price of $3017 and the 430 was $3637. Both with standard buckets and BLI.

The lift capacities I show are:
420 1195 lbs.
430 1259 lbs.
300x 1360 lbs.

That dealer might be giving you some false info to get you to buy the 420. I talked to my dealer today and he already has my 300x. It only took about 10 days.

Just to give you a comparison, in Michigan I am buying for $23200 before tax a 4310 e-hydro 4WD with loaded R4s, DSCVs with 3rd, mid pto, Imatch, 300x loader with 61inch HD bucket and BLI, boom mounted 72inch front blade and a 72 inch mid mower.

I got this dealer down about $1000 with a quote from another dealer. He just gave me a bottom line figure so I can't tell you how much per item.

I afree that a 300 series loader would be the best choice, although you can certainly be alright with a 420.

Got an update from the Deere dealer in Salem, subtract $1800 from the price above to go down to the 4310 and subtract $700 from the price for the 4410... Left out a rebate or something. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Going to call the three other Deere dealers in the area and see what they can do tomorrow. Did try the e-hydro and the power reverser. Like them both but like an idiot I didn't get the price difference. He did say that he didn't think getting a new style loader would be any big deal but didn't get a price.

Did try a Kubota L3130 GST and Hydro, like them, like them a lot and when all is said and done about $500 cheaper than the Deere 4310. However while I like most things on the L3130 (that panel is great!) I really felt a little more comfortable on the Deere, I like my legs out a bit on the pedals versus almost 90 degrees at my knee. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

14 year old son and wife both drove all of them too. He liked the 4410 e-hydro. I think I will let him pay for it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So breaking it down to the tractor only, you got a quote for $16,852.50 for a 4310 ( $1,800 off 18652.50) (and 17552.5 for a 4410). On the 4310 that's about 17% off configurator list price.

It seems like the usual discount is between 17 and 20%.
Anything over that is uncommon but possible...

I don't know if this helps but I just got a quote Friday for a 4410.

Here's what the quote was:

4410 HST transmission (std 4wd) $17,250.00
420 Front End Loader $2,700.00
Total before tax $19,950.00

I don't know why they didn't quote me the 430 fel like I asked. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I don't think this quote was the greatest since these units are being replaced with newer models soon.

Maybe because there is a glut of unsold 420's around that are about to become impossible to sell when the new 3000 TWENTY's go on sale.
I'd hold out for the 430.
