Grading 4310 - What size Box blade?

I'm about to pick up a box blade - I'm going to shop around locally and check out the brands near me. What size BB do you folks who have the mid-chassis models use?

I don't have one, but am planning on a 66" But I have R1s dished full wide... That is almost 66" on the outside of the tires...

Thanks Mike - I'm wide as well, but with R4's. You think the tire difference would be a significant issue?

Steve,

I started out looking for a 66" boxblade for my 4310 also, couldn't find one in stock at any of the dealers close to me. I ended up buying a 72" Frontier, and am glad I did.
The extra width makes it much easier to get the blade up close to fences, buildings, etc., and also does a good job of covering my tracks when turning fairly sharp. The extra weight also helps in hard soil.
I also have the largest R-1s on mine, set as wide as they'll go. The 4310 has no trouble pulling a 6' boxblade.
See if you can give one of each a try. I definately think a 5' would be too small.

Thanks - I agree 66" to 72" sounds like the way to go.

I also have the 72" Frontier Box Blade. I got it on my dealers recommendation. I'm very pleased with it and would buy it again. I was considering the "meduim duty" (BB1172) model but got the "standard" model (BB1072) because that's what they had in stock. I've been very impressed with the quality of the standard one and wouldn't bother with the medium one.
