Got some time today to use the BH. Dug a 4 foot long by 18 inch deep x 12 inch wide hole for fun. Then I found a tree stump that has been in the way for years and I yanked it out, way too easy it was a white pine about 10 years dead. Picked it up in the FEL and buried it in the hole. Coved up the hole abit. The water table is at 3 inches below surface so couldnt ride around much. Took it on a dirt road and ran about a 1/2 mile in high range with cruise on. Took the BH off. About 10 minutes. Put the iMatch break your fingers hitch back on. Had to put all the 3 PH stuff back what a job!! That stuff is heavy. Picked up the tiller and moved it to dryer groun. Picked up the MX-5 and decided to leaveit where it is. We could not get the PTO shaft on. It has a collar like a hydraulic fitting and we could not rotate the shaft to line up the splines, when it did rotate the momentum of the rotary cutter could not be stopped, need to learn more about that. We did not attemp anything with the PHD it looks hard to put on.
With eHydro when going up a hill the tractor lost speed fast in B range I have to learn more about "downshifting" the transmission. We put the back hoe back on in about 5 minutes it is EZ, the rockshaft pulls it right into position. A very fun day. looked at the MMM no grass to cut so we left it alone, have to find out how to ajust cutting height, it seems to be spacers and wheel location. And need to get extra linch pins and other pins. The tractor starts in milli-seconds and runs great. Used no oil and no signs of leaks anywhere. The clearence for the hydraulic lines for the BH are very tight and having to turn on the PTO selectors in a special secuence seems dumb on a computer controlled system. Why not use the mid PTO selector to turn it on with out having to worry about the rear selector??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have what looks like the exact same MMM - there is a cutting height knob on the right side.

I have the 72 inch. Do you mean the adjustable lift rod? I guess if I had some grass to mow I could see it work. The manual says this knob is designed to be used as a depth stop or gauge and to prevent the deck from lowering from cylinder leak down. The more I read about this the less I know, I need some grass to cut /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm jealous(sort of).
Seeing all those goodies gives me the drools. On the other hand, I've already mowed once this spring and ready to shred again. I guess for seat time, you can 1st till the snow, then backhoe some channels in it, then FEL it over to the lawn, and finally spread it with that MMM you got.
HAVE FUN, Keep us posted on how everything works out, especially that back hoe.

The knob I have on mine (also 72") has a diagram showing which direction to turn it for a longer or shorter cut, and it has a pointer, presumably so you can count revolutions on it. The manual says that the knob is for setting cutting height - I did not see anything about cylinder leakdown mentioned.

It ends up being a hard stop.

Is it possible that we have different models? Sure looks identical in the pictures though.

I thouight the "pointer" was to prevent it from unscrewing from vibration. It is a hard stop, I didnt know that. That makes a diffrence.
I have to learn that pushing down on the pedal of a eHydro does not increase the throttle. Why I was bogging down going up hills, I forgot about the hand throttl /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
