448 BH on 4520: is it just me?

Hey Tom, as you know, I have a 448 on my 3320 and although I haven't had much time to use it (winter ugg!) I did put it on a week or so ago when the weather warmed up to 38* /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I dug a hole about 6' deep 5' wide and 7' long in no time at all once I got through the frost. My hoe seemed to be alittle on the weak side for my liking, but after a free service call from the dealership, we found out that the hydraulics were indeed set way to low, the specs say 2500psi on the relief valve, mine was at 2250psi, it's now at 2600psi. After the relief valve was set higher on it the 3pt put the hoe on without any problem, unfortunately we had to take it right back off in anticipation of a big snow storm so I didn't get a chance to try out the hoe /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I plan on posting on this as soon as I get the right words in my head. Look for the post very soon. In answer to your questions about the touchiness of the hoe, mine wasn't that touchy, probably due to the lack of hydraulic pressure. I'll know more when I've had the chance to use it with the pressure set higher.
IMHO you will get the hang of it in no time at all!
Larry
