4500 hour meter

my hour meter stopped working at 230 hrs, it has power and tryies to click over every few seconds but never changer numbers, i have fueled up three times and am still at 230 hrs.

any tips?

Good morning ribcord. I had the same problem with my 2006 5500 at 90 hours. Mine was under warranty. My dealer let me take it out and exchange it. Yours is probably the same dash as mine.
It is a one piece unit with four screws and two or three wiring harness. Its an easy fix, but I do not know the replacement cost. Everything on mine worked except the hour meter. If it happens again (not under warranty) I would opt' for an after market hour meter and install it in the engine
compartment. Good luck.

it is a one peice unit, and everything else works fine, its just the hour meter.
