Has anyone in here moved their muffler on the 00 series so that it doesn't stick straight up? With low tree limbs, I'd prefer to not have to drive so cautiously to avoid low limbs. I want to lower the muffler or make it horizontal instead of vertical. Has anyone done this?

I also want to ad that I installed the Pat's Easy Change 3-pt hookups and they work great. It used to take me anywhere from 20-30 minutes to connect my Howse 6' shredder and I pulled a muscle in my back last week while connecting it using a rock bar and 8# sledge hammer. I just installed the Pat's Easy Change system this evening and with a single attempt, I had my shredder loaded on the 2 lower arms within seconds of starting my tractor.

thanks for the reply whisperer, but the "quick attach" I installed was for the 3-point hitch, not the loader. I have never had a need to remove my loader or my bucket. The process of attaching my shredder on the 3-point was very difficult. I used a 6' rockbar to move the shredder bit by bit to get it aligned with the lift bars and then I had to use a sledge hammer to move the lift bars into place. This is something I didn't look forward to. It was equally hard to remove the shredder from the 3-pt. Now, with Pat's Easy Change System, it's no problem at all.

I haven't looked real closely at the muffler setup to see if I can rotate it down or not, but I do want to lay it horizontally, even if I have to get a custom pipe made to allow for this.

What kind of fish do you whisper to? Nishikigoi?

If you scroll to the bottom of the page that fish_wisperer linked you'll see an example of the exhaust rerouted down in front. I think that may have been why he posted the link... to show an example of the exhaust being rerouted. Perhaps you can contact the folks in the link (Carraway Hay & Tractor) to inquire about rerouting your exhaust.

When you installed the quick hitch-did you use a allen
wrench to make the hitch point straight back. another
words---connected, do the hitches point straight back or
do the angle out?

there is a picture of a rerouted exhaust in that link, its on a 6000 but a 4500 would be the same.

Yes, I used the 4 allen-head bolts to adjust the alignment of the end pieces, per the instructions. The lift arms on my 4500 were already angled toward the center at the end of the arms. I had to use the provided shims to adjust the height of the end pieces and I used the 4 allen-head bolts to adjust the left/right alignment. When I aligned the end pices, I had the lift arms in their highest position. When I lowered them to pick up my shredder, I immediately saw that my adjustments should have been made with the arms in the normal/lower position. I had to readjust the end pieces so they would match the angles of the lift pins on the shredder. Here's a photo of my Pat's Easy Change system with the optional spacer bar:
