4510 3PH Won\'t Lift
Tractor has 20 hours. I was out maintaining a trail to a future deer stand. When I finished , went to raise the cutter to a travel position while crossing a hayfield. When I turned around to check, I saw that the BH was completely lowered to the deck. I stopped and tried messing with the control, the rate of drop valve even the FEL which was stiil working fine. Nothing helped raise the implement.
When I got home, I checked the owners manual troubleshhoting:
3- point hitch fails to lift - Low Oil Level, had checked that and it seemed fine.
Rate of drop valve closed, checked that and it was OK.
Excessive load on hitch, 6 foot cutter hasn't been a problem yet.
Hydraulic oil too cold, Don't think so - tractor had been running at least 1/2 hour.
Hydraulic oil suction screen clogged - Only thing not checked - what's the likelihood of this being the case with only 20 hours?
I would hate to drain the system and then find out that wasn't the cause.
Anybody have any ideas? Machine has worked flawlessly to this point.
