4510 ROPS?

Is this going to be produced? I like/need the extra hp of the 4510 over the 4110 but don't need the cab.

4WHEELFURRY, I don't think you will be seeing a 4510 ROPS model, but the 4110 tractor is most generally a little under rated. I have a customer who runs a 8' kodiak rotary cutter with his 4110. I wouldn't have sold him a 8 footer for the 4110, but he bought it elsewhere and he uses it commercially. The tractor seems to run it fine.
What do you want to use the tractor for, that would require the extra 3 horse power? Maybe your dealer will let you try the 4110 to see how well it will handle your task. You may be surprised. Good Luck

Do you think a "7 footer " in moderate weeds & grass would be fine on a 4110.
I was under the impression not to go bigger then 6 ft.

I looked at the 4510 when shopping for my 4110 and I really liked it for the cab itself.
I don't think theres enough differance in power to make much to worry about.
The 4110 is a real work horse.

What would you think if I told you there is such an animal. It is 45.3 HP and it has a 16x16 shuttle like in the 4510 Cab. Where are you located? As you most likely know TYM builds the "10" series tractors for Mahindra. As of this week TYM has started shipment of their own branded tractors to the USA. I beleave Mahindra will continue importing and distributing the models they currently have. The model T450 is not one of the models they have but it will be available directly from TYM with in the next few months. You can take a look at www.tym-america.com. TYM is working with American Jawa to accomplish this. All of the TYM (pronounced "Tim") distributed by Am Jawa will have a FIVE-YEAR WARANTY. They will be marketed as "TYM" tractors. Am Jawa has approximately 200 dealers across the USA and many of them are planning to sell them. So just to review yes you can get a similar rops version of the MUSA (Mahindra USA) 4510 cab, or better described a 16 speed 45 hp version of the 4110. If you took a 4110 and put a 45.3 hp Kubota engine and a 16X16 shuttle in it you would have the TYM, T450.

TYM's have been selling as TYM's in our area for a couple of years now. Will they all come through Jawa now? Is Jawa planning on selling the TYM long term? Has Jawa quit selling the Century? All these changes are hard to keep up with...

I am running a 6' cutter on a Ford 27pto hp it's not enough. Looking at the Daedong engines on their website, it lists the 4A200 (4110) as the same 33pto hp but the 4A220 (4510) lists 2 more pto hp (38) than Mahindra site. I have run my frends Ford 48pto hp and it's a little to much also it is a full ag frame and I am wanting a compact. I have run the 3510 and can say it is = to my Ford (not enough). So I figured I'd go somewhere inbetween, also I will be using a loader and will need the extra lift comp. Sure would like to see a 4510 ROPS though.

Before you buy a 4110, you should try the tractor on your 7' cutter. I don't really know what kind of material you are trying to cut. But the story I told you about my customer running a 8' cutter, is absolutely true. He uses it commercially, so he isn't always cutting the same material. I would hope your dealer would let you try it. In return you should try it as little as you have to, to make your desision and treat it better than you would your own. The dealer still has to sell that tractor if you don't purchase it. Good Luck!

Hi all

I hooked up a Woods brushbull 840. It's an 84" cut. Darn thing weighs 1280 lbs. Has a tail wheel that helps out a lot. The cutter is too heavy at this point in time. I say that because when lifting cutter off ground the front wheels just touch. Running over little bumps or up a little grade lifts the wheels till tail wheel on cutter hits ground. While cutting it's hard to turn as front wheels don't steer well.

The cutter operates good. The PTO, I think, has plenty of power. I do wonder if using this think can put excessive wear on PTO and parts related to PTO? I have not used Brushbull except to see if it would work and it cuts real nice. I think I can weigh the front of Mahindra down and maybe some water in tires and I would be good to go. I wonder, can I use water in front tires or is that a bad idea? I wouldn't be sure yet, but even with weight on tractor, I'm not sure I would want to operate on any steep hills. I'd have to wait till I tried cutter with more weight on tractor.
