Do you merge two or more windrows for that big baler? Up here they might roll 3 into 1 for a big baler. 'Course we're doin' really good to get 1 - 1-1/2 tons per acre!!
----
It depends - I use a disc cutter so there are no rows to start out with. When it is thick we just run across it once to build one windrow. As long as the windrow is pretty even across -we are are good. When there are holes in the windrow - makes it hard to bale.
Leaves on the trees here at the house have just been out about a week, now. Grass is finally gettin' some growth, too.
---
Same here in regards to the bermuda grass. It is finally starting to take off.
I just finished puttin' on a ton of 22-11-11 and 6% sulfur on the 10 acre field I'm gonna bale with my JD 110 and the JD 336 baler this July.
----
That should help get it going. 50 units of N is the min moist people put out. A tad more N will really get it going.
I've got some pics of root-rakin' with a T250 Bobcat this last week... didn't think I'd post those on the JD forum!!

---
POst them - Bobcats can be a blast.
Keep those pics, comin' D.
(Buildin' some new gates with that steel?)
-----
I was using electric fence around my hay storage. I am tired of dead batteries and the grass growing up to short out the fence. So - putting 6 wire fence around it with a pair of 12' gates.
