Have looked at a couple of tractors and really like the 4530. Local dealer has one at a good price I think. 2014, 4530, fel filled tires, back remotes. Delivered for $23,300. Everyone else wants $2500 more. What do you guys think?????

Well I think I am quoted a pretty good price as most seem to want $25,500 for the same setup. I haveing a hard time between the 5035 and the 4530. Like the 5530 but just too big physically for my liking. I have 13 acres mostly woods and long drive where I live and another 50 acres 5 miles away that I inherited that needs alot of hogging, fence removal, brush clean up and grading some fields to get ready to cut hay off of. I need to do snow removal from my drive. I will not be doing any hay myself. The 4530 seems to be a really good value and is built like a tank.

Just found a 2012 with a front end loader, filed tires, rear remotes and 7' box blade with 14 hours. Owner does not use it. Will take $20,000 for the setup. Is that a pretty good deal? Seems like so to me. What do you think?

Sound's like a steal to me..I have nothing but good to say about my 4530.Yeah there is a few things that I don't like' but I have had many different color's of tractors in different hp ratings..I have done more with my 4530 than many others I have owned with higher HP. Only had one issue with a leaking fuel return line that was covered under warranty.

I should have elaborated a little more..My situation is similar to your's it sound's.I have 20 acres here that I reside on and 65 about 1 mile away from the home place.A lot of my place is wooded with about 700 ft of uphill gravel drive to maintain. I run a 7 foot hog but I have run a 10 ft behind it, but had to be a little more careful and slow down a bit. Fence maintenance, clearing, hogging, etc on the 65 acres..I was kind of in the same situation,I was seriously thinking the 5530 but went with the 45..So far not one regret here..

So buy new or used. The new is $23,300 plus 4% tax. Fel, rear remotes, fluid in tires front brush guard. Located at good dealer 60 miles away and will deliver to me. The used has 14 hours, 2012 modle with 3 years left on warranty. Same specs as the new tractor but also has 7' box blade. It is about 300 miles away so I will have to pick it up. Price is $20,000 but can probably get is a little cheaper. What a choice. Thanks for your help.

Me, I'd spend a few thousand more and get the new one... Only way I would buy a used one is that it was quite a bit lower in price... A tractor is a long term investment... But, no one can or should make this decision for you... :)

Well the used 4530 is practically new, 14 hours, has three years warranty and is $4,000 cheaper and comes with a 7' new box blade. That is not just a few hundred dollars. It is about 4 hours away so I it will take a day to go check out. Wish it were closer.
