dug out 5 trailer loads of dirt last week for guy down street, and friend of mine wanted a parking area cut out of hillside,for his wifes car. So yesterday nother friend got an excavator;1. cause it was alot of dirt to dig out and 2. time was a factor. we wanted the rough hole done in 1 day. 22' x 12' with angled rear wall. Derek dug,I ran dump truck,15+ loads approx 100 ton dirt total. pic 1 is rough dig out-1 day,pic 2&3 I came back and smoothed,dragged and beveled sides with the 2305. see it hiding on my flatbed. bit less than 2 days. also dragged pallet of stone off truck bed with Greenie. Getting hang of tractor use,didnt even hit the old wall still up on other side of driveway.

guy called me yesterday to tell me the water drained off just at right place. BUT last night we had big storms,up to 4" in 45 mins. in some places. I'm curious to see how the digout coped with that rain. the only thing I forgot to mention is when we were like 2 truckloads from end of dig,guy drives by and said he could use the fill just down the street,about 1.5 blocks away.figures always the case.
