4720 3pt hitch lift lever has loosened up / has no resistance - HELP

4720 has 360hrs.
The 3pt lift lever use to have resistance like my 4700 & 5093.
It raises & lowers my mower fine.
Once raised, it now will slowly ease down because the lever eventually moves towards the down position.
There's no springs & nothing appears loose where linkage goes inside.
You can operate lever with one finger. Doesn't feel right.

Any ideas ?

Just tighten the friction plates that hold it in position, I believe.

The 3 threaded bolts around where it goes into the trans housing ?

I thought about that, as I seen jamb nuts on them.

#'s 4 5 10 12 13 14 should clamp down on the lever, once tightened.

My 5075e did the same thing after about 250 hours. The manual actually had good directions on how to tighten it back up, and I haven't had a problem since. Good luck with it.

I was wrong. It only had 2 bolts.
I loosened the jam nuts, tightened both bolts some, locked jam nuts down :
Bingo - feels like it did before & works flawless.
