4720 Manana

Well the dealer called this afternoon to tell me my new 4720 has arrived. They'll finish getting it set up this afternoon and tomorrow morning and I'll probably be picking it up around mid-day tomorrow. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was talking to the dealer about the power beyond for the backhoe. He didn't order the kit. He says I can run the backhoe of the rear SCV and they'll just fashion a little block to hold open the valve while I'm using the backhoe. He thinks that as long as I don't need the rear SCV for something else while I'm using the back-hoe I should be fine and I'll save a couple hundred dollars. I figure I'll give a try and at the same time I'll be evalulating whether I want any additional rear SCVs.

Anybody see any downsides to this?

It may end up meaning that for me, too. When I saw the guy's name on the caller ID I almost jumped in the truck and headed out.

You must have jinxed me. It's almost 3:30 here, I haven't heard anything from the dealer about the tractor being ready. I guess I'll be getting manana still -- i.e., not today either.

It may be just as well. I had to run up north for a couple hours late this morning and I still need to help my daughter got get her car with a dead battery out of the mall parking lot. Maybe they'll finish the set up this afternoon and I can pick it up first thing tomorrow.
