4720-Play in Front Axle

My 4720 has 1320 hours. today while out moving snow I glanced down and it looked like left front tire had some wobble or play in it. So raising the front end off ground, I checked it out and there is some play right/left. Right wheel tight-no slop what so ever. Rotating wheels-again front end off ground, normal-no chucking, rotate clockwise and other is counter clockwise as it should be.

Appreciate any opinions.

Left wheel bearings or tie rod play. For bearing take hold of the top and bottom of the wheel and check for play.

Well got underneath it this afternoon-for sure chucking at right end of tie rod. Right wheel which is attached to hydraulic cylinder tight as can be.

My 3x20 has a thrust bolt centerline behind the front axle that needs regular checking... don't know about the 4x20s.

Red Horse another test for play with the brakes off just take a front wheel and try and rolling back and forth. This will let you know how much play is in the front pivot point. Generally it gets neglected when time to grease far to often.
