4720 snow capability

Have posted this before, but when I built the wing plow for the 4300, I was very concerned how the front wheels would take the side torque.

But have learned to deal with it and it isn't as bad as I thought it might be.

I run an 8' FEL mounted blade on my 4520, but I have turf tires and have had no problems pushing enough snow for it to roll over the top of the blade. I added a 12" extension to the top of the blade for this winter, and still can push more than the blade can handle.

Thx for all the responses. I think what I will do is look for a decent 7.5 and then add at least a 6" extension on top angled forward to "carry" and roll a full blade. The reason I would not go 8', is bay I keep it in has an 8' door plus I park it in front of my pick up so between concrete weight block and plow mount on loader, angling blade to get through the 8' opening is not an option as I don't have the length.
