4720 with Cab - Dropped off Today

Dealer delivered the cab 4720 today. It was well worth the wait. The cab is awesome, just like everyone here has said. Looks too good to get dirty, but oh well. I got it with a top-n-tilt kit (a must have), telescoping links, 3rd valve, 400CX loader with additional outlets for future grapple, air deluxe seat, cd radio, front and rear work lights, and the front fenders. All for around 38k.

Thanks. I fell in love with the top-n-tilt on my 4310. It makes grading much easier. Just can't do without it now. Summers here in GA are brutal, especially when you are on a tractor all day in direct sunlight with no breeze. The cab was also a must have. I will take it to my first job tomorrow, along with the harley rake and rollover box blade, and put several hours on it. Can't sleep tonight. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow, That is one nice looking tractor. Love to own one someday. The cab looks real good! I take it the top-n-tilt works the top link hydraulicly??that would be a real nice feature. Is it available on smaller machines???or after market?.

Quite an impressive tractor. Would you be open to posting a couple of close-up pictures of the front fenders and the additional hydraulic coupler set up for the future grapple?

That is exactly the tractor I wanted to buy from JD 3 years ago, but they obviously didn't have it. At the time, my JD dealer told me that JD saw no market in that size of a tractor for a cab unit. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif By the time he called me back and told me that he could order me one, I'd strayed away from JD for the first time in almost 20 years and had been running a L5030HSTC for almost 3 years.

I did go look at the exact same setup you have since that is what I have in just another color. I do have a quick question though, what type of holder is there for your factory Top in your Top & Tilt? The 'bota doesn't seem to have a good factory setup for the top link if you are not using it.

From what I can see it looks like JD has the tops with their "Load Match" setup (sweet!), currently the quietest cab, and IMHO the easiest to control hydro drive. You'll have to be sure to post pics of that thing in action! I'd be lying if I didn't say that I don't have a yearning to go back to green. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif However, my tractor has not let me down in any area and has been great. Does that make me "green" with envy then? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Great looking tractor!
