4th of July Oklahoma City Fireworks??

Actually the best place is probably some one of the lots on the college grounds. You might get there a bit early, but they do have activities in the stadium (and they shot the fire works right over your head) The best part is we are experiencing some absolutely incredible weather. We are gonna be around 85 for a high. Some 4th's we are hitting 105 so 20 under is great!

Don't know about fireworks but there is some interesting stuff to see in the EL Reno area. I spent a couple of hours looking around the grounds at old Fort El Reno The cemetery is interesting, everything from Indian Scouts, and Buffalo Soldiers to German POW"S buried there. Downtown there is a little bark with the Army office where the great land race started. It is only about 25 miles west of Oklahoma City

Folks still on the road we are in Kansas City, Mo for the next few days. We ended up staying in Moore,OK for the 4th and watched the fireworks. We stayed about a mile from where the tornado hit in May, wow to see the damage first hand was something. We do not get many tornados in NJ and never a F5, so for us the damage was amazing and so random, the house next door is gone with minimal damage on the house next door. From here we are going to Springfield, IL to see where Lincoln grew upand then back to St. Louis and fly back home on Saturday.
