5 acres of rocks, a tractor-loader question

That is a good price and everything I hear is that Buck is honest, fair and as I said before I've talked to him and he is very helpful and knowlegdeable.

I'm aware of 3 Jinma dealers in Oregon: http://tractorconnection.com/index.html http://tractor-outlet.com/

I bought my JM 224 from Tractor Connection and have been very pleased. I have the JM loader and have used it for digging out a number of tree stumps. Incidentally, my 224 is identical in appearance and size to a 284 including having same size tires but with the 380 engine instead of 385.
For your use I'd suggest a 4' bucket if you get a Koyker. Wider buckets take more force to shove into the ground and are more easily damaged when prying on a rock.

Yeah, I went up to the Dalles today and talked with Dustin about a 284, and a 204. Both with the Koyker loaders. Nice machines, he has put them together well.
Figure the 204 could do most of the work....but like Tim the tool man Taylor....
I feel the need for MORE POWER! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The JM184, 204 or 224 2cyl models are identical except for stickers and rated RPM and will drag the 284 sideways. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Save your money and buy more implements like a box blade (good for rocks and tames rough ground). Dustin is a good guy he will help you out.

I have a 184 Jinma I got from Buck at EFC although it is rated at 18 hp at 2200 RPM if I increase the RPM to 2350 it is 22hp. Go figure /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif!!! I read all the information on the motor and the 2cyl 184 has the same motor as the 2cyl 204 and 224, and I mean the very same motor... I also have a 160 koyker loader with a 5ft bucket that came with the Tractor. I am very happy with it and I have alot of rocks on my property that I have moved, and the 5ft bucket can carry alot more than the 4ft.
I have been told that the 2cyl has a lot more torque than the 3cyl, I can believe that. I know that the 2cyl 184 pulls a 5 1/2 ft box blade, and a 5ft rotary cutter with no problem /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
