5" Angle Grinder

I feel your pain. I generally use my laptop. On the go I use my iPhone. Gave up on my iPad too.

Thanks for posting that Mark. Drove me crazy trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Hey Mud... Does sound like you like to lean on your grinders. True I sort of take my time with my HF grinders and baby them a bit, but I sure like the price. I can afford as many as I want. Normally I preach and buy high quality $$$ tools...grinders are too easy to max out and burn up, even the expensive ones. Ben dar dun dat.

You know, if I could improve on my cutting and welding skills, I probably wouldnt wear out as many grinders.

That's interesting. Tapatalk is available for this forum in Canada. I am unable at this time to post photos utilizing the TBN app on my iPhone.

The TBN app is broken and may not get fixed (that app isn't really supported by the company who bought it any more).

They just got TapaTalk up & running today or yesterday. It will be the permanent replacement for the old crappy unsupported ForumRunner app that was the base of the TBN app. The Android TBN app stopped working when they did the server upgrade a week ago. Not sure if they are going to bother getting it working or just move forward with TapaTalk, but I've ditched that old buggy POS TBN app already.

Broken? Seems to work for me on my iPhone... I can post pics and get double posts just as well as my laptop on Safari.

App working or not...The common sizes appear to be 4.5", 7", and 9". I know there are others. I have seen 4" & 5" for example, but sticking with the common sizes seems to make sense. I use 4.5" a bunch, but when I need real power I grab the one 7" Makita I have. That is a beast. I don't think I am big enough to handle a 9" grinder... All of my 4.5" are Makita except the one Northern Brand I got. That was the 2nd grinder I got after my first Makita (It was very cheap). And that is why all the rest of my grinders are not Northern brand, but are Makitas... Totally gutless, but then you look at the amp rating, and you know why. I use it only for lighter tasks. I think I have 4 grinders at 4.5" and the one 7". It is close to enough grinders for me, but not quite...
