The Triginer rock pickers like both the Lenco and Nortec rock pickers
are sub terrainian rock pickers meaning they can dig deep with their
digging scoops to remove every rock it can reach.
The method Triginer employs is a rotating digging head that lifts all
the rocks it can lift up on to the conveyor chain and at the same time
the dirt and very small stones fall through the conveyor chain to the
ground.
I do not know how to post a youtube video from Triginer here so all I can do
is provide the link for anyone to use as they have plenty of videos of their
machines clearing stone.
The Triginer video "Rock Picker TRIGINER working deep" is an
excellent video showing how well it works leaving only very small
stones and a thick fine dirt seed bed.
Another excellent example of a stone picker is the Lenco stone picker
which uses a potato digger scoop method to pull stones up with the
digging edge and onto the conveyor chain where very small stones,
dirt and roots drop to the ground and then rocks are carried into the
hopper by the conveyor.

Both rock picker types lend themselves to using ridge tillage for a deep seed
bed that will allow row crops to germinate quickly and grow quickly and
create a thick canopy choking off weeds.
