Mowing 5' finish mower on a 16hp yanmar?

5\' finish mower on a 16hp yanmar?

Hi,
Is a 5' finish mower too much for a 16 hp yanmar? Tractor has 4x4 and wide turf tires... Of course I'll try out anyway, and don't anticipate winning any races... just don't want to unnecessarily overload the tractor... Thanks. -art

What model number is the tractor? Everybody has a different idea about how horsepower is measured.

it's 16hp engine, I'm not sure about at the PTO. Probably 12 or so..

In my opinion I would not put a 60" mower behind a 169

You will wipe out to many trees and fences, doorway ect..

not to mention the strain on the tractor & safety issue

go for the 48" like everyone else suggested

I plan on running a 54" w/an 18HP tractor. I would have been more than happy w/ a 48" (that's what my old Power King had), but the 54" was readily available at the right price/location.
