I was going to mention the 3ph lever also. I have a different model but I have heard of it affecting lots of different tractors. I went through a bunch of disconnecting and reconnecting lines only to discover that the 3ph lever was in the up position messing with the loader function.

Bernie - I think your comments explain my issues which occurs when I am using the FEL and 3 pt rear blade at the same time

Do you have no pressure or will the loader not lower at all? Often times the three point hitch Lower/Raise lever will get stuck in the rearmost "raise" position and will disable the lowering function of the front end loader. Let us know!

Hmmm, never thought of that. I did what the dealer told me and checked all the connection and switched all the lines. When I switched them, whatever line lowers the boom would not do the new assignment, e.g. if the line from the lower loader was switched to the bucket dump, then the bucket would not dump so this 3PH lever idea might be the culprit. I don't see how I coulda bumped it though, but it is easy to move. I'll check this as soon as I get a chance. Hope it's this simple! :)

DOH!!!!

Tractorman...you sir are a GENIUS!!!!

I couldn't take it anymore and went home and checked this out!!! Sure enought the 3pt lever was just past the detent by a hair. Dropped her to the neutral and everything worked fine. A big THANK YOU!!! :D :D :D

I don't know how I bumped the thing because I never use it but it must have got knocked somehow, maybe when I got on. Now my question is, why would my dealer not know about this? Seems like a common solution that must happen a lot? I'm just happy my baby is healthy again.

LOVE THIS FORUM!!!!

Thanks guys!!! :D

He was looking a little deeper then he had to. Normally the engine labor's more while running and many people catch it on there own.

I do believe I'll file this one in the "Things to remember" section of my mind. I only hope I can recall it when the moment of panic sets in.

Yeah thats the problem remembering it.
I had read something about it a few months before it happened to me but I didn't remember it until I looked at the lever.

Well I can tell ya my engine was not missing a beat and I run it just above idle, there was no difference in sound at all. Like I said the lever was off just by a hair so I don't think much pressure would have been diverted to the 3PH. I wish there was a way to lock the thing or at least increase the friction of the lever, it's WAY too easy to move as is!
