Re: 5\' or 6\' Rear Blade for CK30

Also if you ever turn the 6' blade at an angle, it cuts the width down close to 5'.

This is something that I learned here on TBN about 3-4 months ago when looking for a rake. Angling narrows the contact width. On the other hand, to big (long) may prevent you from a 180* turn of the implement when attached to the tractor. I think some people over look these things when buying (as I did). Good reminder.

Re: 5\' or 6\' Rear Blade for CK30

I've been using a 6' rake behind my CK20 for the past two nights and it pulls that with no problems unless I set it too low and try to 3 "or 4" of dirt at a time which just loads up the rake anyway.

Dragging with my CK20 (see attachment) 50+ feet about 20 or so times with my 5' RB and it doesn't even know it's doing it.
