50 hour maintenance on L3010

I also seen the value in being able to "tag" along with the mechanic as he did the work. But Boondox I am wondering about the prices of the consumables, are they average, or below average. From what I have seen on the web they are below the going rate, and well just wondering if I should be stocking up now on filters and oil as I plan on having this tractor a long long time.

I guess if you have to use Kubota filters and hydraulic oil, you don't have a choice?

Compared to JD filters and hydraulic oil, Kubota seems a bit high (and I thought JD was high). Thes prices are for a JD 4610.

Actually, you got a very good price. You can check your costs against the prices listed at www.tractorsmart.com. The 3010 filters are quite expensive, but your dealer gave you a good price. When I did the 50 hours on my 2910 last fall, I got everything, including the Super UDT, delivered to the house for about $90. The dealers were wanting well over $200 to do it. I bought the Kubota shop manuals, so I figure I'll take care of all maintainance myself..I trust my own work more than a shop guy who is in a hurry.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I just had my 50 hour service done by the dealer I bought my tractor from. Cost for filters, oil and labor was $190.00 (he was having a mid-winter 20% off special on parts). Even with the $50 pick-up/delivery charge for 150 mile round trip, I was happy with the price.

One thing you didn't list that my dealer included was a new air filter. Not sure how much it matters but you might want to clean your old one if he didn't replace it.
