50 hour service cost

John, I finished the 50 hr on my L3010HST last month. I went to the dealer and told him I wanted everything to complete the service. What he provided me was 80W-90 for the front axle although what came out looked like UDT.

You're right, the screen is a bear to get out. I not only had to disconnect the spring you talked about but also disconnected a hydraulic line in order to get enough clearance to remove the screen with out trying to force it pass anything.

I don't really know, except that I've got a couple of 5 gallon drums left over from other stuff. That would probably be what I used if forced into a corner... /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

For about 30 bucks or so, I picked up an industrial-sized drain pan from NAPA Auto Parts. I think it holds about 7 gallons, which is cutting it pretty close on my L2500, but since I can't get every last drop all at once (4 drain plugs), it worked out just fine.

I was, in fact, able to get all the drained fluid into the pan, so when I was all done putting the new fluid in, I poured the old oil into the newly-emptied oil jugs. Of course, then I wound up driving these jugs all the way back home (120 miles) 'cuz there are more accessible recycling centers around here.
