I am not saying your wrong. Any time you can do the work and save money it makes sense. However, it does not look like that labor charge of $140 is unreasonable. How long is it going to take you to do the work? Two hours maybe? That would only be a labor charge of $70 per hour. I wish I could get away with paying that low a rate to my “mechanic”.
