/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifComing up on my 50 hour service. JD 4310. Any hints. Do I need to change hydro fluid or will the filter do. Love the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gifHad yellow lettering made up for my wifes lawn tractor and my 4310 with our names. Gonna have a couple of warranty things taken care of tilt wheel wont tilt. Wire harness left side of engine in front left side sticks out cant close covers all the way. could fix myself but they will.

I would change the hydro fluid and filter. You do need to change the engine oil at 50 hours also. Other than that check for loose or missing parts and check the wheel bolt torque.

You can find quite a lot of information on the topic if you do a search but my advise is just do everything per your manual. The only questions I had was what viscosity transmission fluid to use and weather or not to use new break in engine oil again for a second 50 hours. I beleave most use Lo viscosity as I did, but that may depend on where you live and how and when you use your tractor. You will find more debate on the break in oil question. Good luck /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
