I am not up to 50 hrs yet, but I am going to print out this list and put it with my manual. Although it doesn't sound like a difficult job, this will make it a little easier when the time comes.

i too have a checklist for every thing i own,it helps you to do every last detail.i hadnt yet made one for the bota,now i dont have to.printers are a wonderful thing.in my opinion you will never hire anyone to service your cars,tractors etc.and do it as detailed and clean as the person who owns it.places can keep their 20 dollar oil changes,id do it myself even if it did cost more,that way i KNOW it was at least attempted to be done right.

I just sent you a copy. One thing I did, but it's not on the list, I grabbed a handfull of wrenches and went around the tractor checking all the nuts and bolts to make sure they were tight, I picked up on this one from doing the service work on my Harley /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I like to keep this check list with the receipts for the fluids and filters, incase there would be a warranty issue.

I think the check list is a great idea.
I get to sort of the same place by using the periodic maintenance schedule in the owners' manual, performing in order each operation on the list for that maintenance, checking it off as I do it, and then dating that maintenance column with the date on which the whole periodic maintenance was performed.
That way, should any warranty question arise, I have a contemoraneous record that each required periodic maintenance item has been performed.
